Contest Rules
Contest topics, deadlines and winners will be announced via the Foster Area Business Association (FABA) social media accounts. Contestants do not have to follow these accounts to win. Winners are judged by the number of likes/reactions their post has earned and the appropriateness to the weekly category. You must be at least 18 years old to win. Posts must contain a picture inside a Foster Area business or with a Foster Area business product. The business must be clearly identifiable from the photo to win. Contestants must post an original photo. No contestant may win more than two of the nine weekly contests. Foster area business owners cannot win with a post for their own business. Contestants will not be compensated for their work. Posting or attempting to post personal contact information beyond social media account information, nudity, illegal activity, anything that violates federal communications statutes or is copyrighted content will result in disqualification from the current contest and the contest as a whole. FABA is responsible for winner selection. Winners will receive a gift certificate to the business their winning post is taken at, whenever possible. When this is not possible, they will receive a gift certificate to another business at the discretion of FABA. Contest winner names will be selected from their screenname. Winners will be contacted via the medium through which they posted their image. Contest winners will have one week to respond and claim their prize or it is forfeit. Unclaimed prizes will go back to the business that issued them. FABA is not liable for any posting errors, typos, schedule issues or other system failures on the part of contestants, participants or winners. By tagging your post with #FosterFaves, you are giving FABA the right to use your name, image, screenname and account in our promotions for the duration of the contest and beyond.
