WinterFest Fun

Posted on

We had a great time celebrating WinterFest with you!

Thanks especially to businesses that created our winter magic activities. Danielle Deschenes and Pieper Cafe helped participants decorate 40 gingerbread houses. Hammer + Jacks threw a super fun scavenger hunt, and we’re lucky to have Red Castle Games, who hosted a wonderful holiday board game open play event. Portland Circle of Friends & Family Preschool  hosted Crafting at the Carts (with supplies donated by I’ve Been Framed and Carts on Foster put together the first annual Cart Lighting.

We were thrilled to host Commissioner Nick Fish, who led the countdown to cart lighting!

A final thank you to all of our neighbors who shop local and support their community businesses. 70 cents of every dollar you spend at a neighborhood business stays in our local economy. You all are the best!

Foster WinterFest was made possible through the support of FABA’s sponsors, including Bar Maven, Carts on Foster, Dore Law Firm, Foster Burger, Klein & Associates, Inc., Performance Works NW, Pieper Cafe, Red Castle Games, SE Works, Starday Tavern, Thunderbird Bar, Transition Projects, The Trap Restaurant & Lounge and grants from Venture Portland.
