The 2016 Foster Area Annual Meeting was held on Feb. 9, 2016 at the Carts on Foster. We had delicious food from Angry Unicorn, the Noodle Cart, and Roadrunner BBQ, as well as refreshing drinks from The Pod Bar.
Staff person Marina Martinez presented President Matthew Micetic and Treasurer Laura Kropf with a check from Venture Portland for $4,000 representing the $4,000 grant that FABA applied for and was awarded as part of the East Portland Pilot Project.
Marina also announced our new website, district map, and upcoming Summer pub crawl, all brand new member benefits for 2016. FABA membership is $50 annually for home based businesses, $95 annually for brick and mortar businesses and $200 for sustaining members. Members will be listed on the new website for free, and get discounts on advertising in the district map, and have an opportunity to advertise to pub crawl participants.
The Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association was awarded the Outstanding Neighbor award, and Rebecca Lavelle-Register accepted on behalf of the association.
